From Datsun 1200 Wiki

After the Datsun 1200 (B110) SSS, Nissan New Zealand marketed a B210-based 120Y SSS in the same vain as the previous version.

JNINE's SSS

This is my first car purchased in Napier in approx 1988, a 120Y SSS. I think it cost around $1200 back then, and I sold it for $1500 about five years later to a couple of guys from Auckland who were scouring the country for a 'good one'. It was in very good condition for it's age at the time, but had been in storage for a number of years and needed a replacement mag and axle after it had been stolen and hit a roundabout. Even back then parts were hard to find. The mags (actually made with magnesium) craked very easily and were, at the time, expensive to repair so I still have a few cracked ones lying around at my parents place.
